This blog is an accompaniment to the textbook, Mediascapes: New Patterns in Canadian Communication, 3rd edition. It is maintained by the editor, Leslie Regan Shade, Associate Professor at the Department of Communication Studies, Concordia University, Montreal.

The blog consists of topical updates and links to news items relevant to the content of the book. Relations to particular chapters will be identified through the Categories links, and particular content will be tagged for easier searching.
